Everything you need to use Trckr well.

1Install & sign in

One-time setup. Takes about 90 seconds.

2Your daily flow

The whole loop. Most days you'll touch only the play button and the break button.

1. Open Trckr. The hero card shows your weekly progress and which project + task you'll be tracking against.
2. Pick your project + task if it's not the one you want. Tap the chips on the home tab.
3. Hit ▶ to start tracking. The timer begins. The icon in the top-right turns into a glowing green dot — that's the recording signal.
4. Work normally. Trckr counts keyboard + mouse events (event counts only — never what you typed) to compute activity %.
5. Take breaks when you need them — see section 5.
6. Hit ⏹ when you're done for the day. That's it.

Keyboard shortcuts

• Ctrl + Alt + T — toggle tracking (works system-wide, even when Trckr is minimized).
• Ctrl + Shift + P — pause / resume.
• Ctrl + Shift + S — stop tracking.
• Ctrl + Shift + B — start a break.

3Tasks & projects

Every tracked minute is tied to a project + a task. That's how clean weekly reports happen — without you typing anything extra.

Picking work

• The project chip on the home tab opens a project picker. Pick yours.
• The task chip opens the task picker for that project. Pick what you'll work on.
• If your project has no tasks, head to the Tasks tab and create one. The task name is what shows up on reports.

Creating tasks

In the Tasks tab, click + New task. Give it a clear name ("Outreach emails — Wave 3", "QA fixes for Liz site"), pick the project, optionally add an estimated-hours target. Done. The task is now pickable from the timer.

4Screenshots

Trckr captures roughly 3 screenshots per 10-minute window, at random offsets. Same as before — but with two improvements you'll notice:

• Edge-flash on capture. A soft gold ring briefly flashes around the app window the moment a screenshot fires, paired with a soft owl-hoot sound. So you always know when one happens — no surprises later.
• Delete-before-upload. The Screenshots tab inside Trckr shows everything captured in the last 24 hours. If a shot contains something private (a banking tab you forgot to close, a message you didn't mean to be in frame), click Delete and it's removed before it ever leaves your machine.

5Breaks & idle

The 30-minute break button

If you're full-time, you get 30 minutes of break time per day. Hit the 🍵 Take a break button — tracking pauses, screenshots stop, your timer doesn't lose progress. When break ends, tracking resumes automatically. The 30-minute cap is daily and survives an app restart, so you can't reset it by closing Trckr.

Auto-idle

If your keyboard + mouse go quiet for 5 minutes, Trckr shows an "Are you still there?" warning. At 6 minutes 30 seconds, a 30-second countdown overlay appears with a "Keep tracking" button — click it if you were just reading. At 7 minutes idle, Trckr auto-stops so you're not billed for time you didn't work.

If your laptop sleeps

Trckr detects sleep/resume cycles and auto-pauses on resume. You'll see a small banner — accept it (keep the break) or click "Discard" if you want those minutes back.

6Chat tab

The 💬 Chat tab connects directly to your project channel on community.armasourcing.com — no app-switching needed for quick replies. Live, real-time messaging that stays in sync with the community web app.

Channels you'll see

• Your client team channel (Tekton Growth / Liz McComish / etc.)
• The Lounge — general team chat

Use the dropdown at the top of the Chat tab to switch between them.

What you can do here vs. on the web

Inside the agent's Chat tab:

• Send and receive plain-text messages + emoji
• Receive GIFs, kudos cards, @-mentions, and image attachments — they render the same as on the web

For sending GIFs, kudos, @-mention autocomplete, file attachments, reactions, and DMs, open community.armasourcing.com in your browser. Same account, same channels, fuller toolset.

If chat looks stale

Click the ↻ refresh button next to the channel dropdown. That re-mints your session and reconnects the live stream.

7Your /me dashboard

Visit tracker.armasourcing.com/me in any browser for a richer view than the agent provides:

• 📷 Screenshots tab — every shot from the last 24 hours, deletable.
• 📋 Tasks tab — view + create tasks, see hours spent on each.
• 📝 Submit time tab — forgot to track? Submit a manual entry (start, end, project, what you worked on). Eli or your admin approves it; approved time appears in your hours.
• 🏆 Badges tab — see your weekly + lifetime badges and progress to the next ones.
• 💬 Chat tab — same chat as the agent, in browser.

8Emails you'll get

Sent from Trckr <hello@armasourcing.com>. Reply to any of them — it goes to a real human.

• Sunday weekly recap — your hours, activity %, days active, top project, and a vs-last-week comparison. If you're behind goal, no shaming — just an opening to tell us if anything's in the way.
• Appreciation emails — when you hit a streak (5, 10, 30 days), beat your weekly goal, or cross a lifetime hours milestone (100h, 500h). Short, genuine, no spam.
• Quick check-in — only if Trckr's anti-cheat flags something + the admin confirms it. Supportive in tone, never accusing. See section 9.

9The anti-cheat heads-up

Trckr watches for patterns that only automation produces — a click train at exactly 1.000-second intervals, a mouse jiggler creating motion with no keyboard, screenshots that look identical for ten straight minutes. When the system flags something, AI reads your own 7-day baseline first — if 100% activity is normal for you because you do focused repetitive work, that's not flagged. False positives auto-clear before anyone sees them.

If a real pattern is confirmed by the admin, you'll get a polite email: "Quick check-in on your tracking". The tone is supportive, not punitive. We'd rather hear context (network blip? unusual workflow? tool you weren't sure about?) than guess. Just hit reply.

10When things go wrong

Trckr won't open

Try restarting Windows. If it still won't open, uninstall and reinstall from tracker.armasourcing.com/install. Your tracked time is safe — it's stored on the server, not in the agent.

"Offline" banner won't go away

Your internet is probably down or our server is unreachable. Trckr keeps tracking offline and syncs automatically when the connection returns — you don't lose any minutes. If it persists more than 30 minutes with the internet clearly working, message us.

I forgot to start tracking

Visit tracker.armasourcing.com/me → Submit time tab. Fill in start, end, project, what you worked on. Eli or your admin approves; approved time joins your hours.

I'm getting a SmartScreen warning every time I run the installer

Only the first install should show it. If you keep seeing it, the installer might not be from us — make sure you downloaded from tracker.armasourcing.com. Never run an installer that came from anywhere else.

My screenshots tab is blank

Either you haven't tracked yet today (no shots to show), or the agent needs a restart. Quit from the tray and reopen.

Chat keeps showing old messages

Click the ↻ refresh button in the Chat tab header. That force-reconnects to community.armasourcing.com and pulls the latest 50 messages. (If you're on v0.3.10+, the agent auto-recovers stuck connections within ~75 seconds anyway.)

11What we capture (and don't)

What we capture

• Keyboard and mouse event counts per minute (numbers, not what you typed).
• Active app name + window title.
• Active browser URL (when a browser is in focus).
• Screenshots — primary monitor only, ~3 per 10-minute window.
• Idle time (no input for 8+ minutes).
• Crash reports (if Trckr itself crashes — for fixing bugs).

What we never capture

• Actual keystrokes or anything you type.
• Microphone or camera. Ever.
• Clipboard contents.
• Your other monitors (only the primary).
• Anything during a break or after you hit ⏹.

Where it lives

Armasourcing's own VPS. Encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Your bearer token is encrypted at rest on your machine using Windows DPAPI. Screenshots auto-delete after 90 days. Aggregate metrics (hours, activity %) keep for 2 years for trend analysis.

Your rights

• Delete any screenshot before upload (Screenshots tab in the agent or /me).
• Pause tracking anytime — no questions asked.
• Request your full data export — email hello@armasourcing.com.
