Why Trckr

A tracker built for our team, not licensed from one.

For most of last year we used a third-party time tracker. It worked, but it wasn't ours. Every feature request became a vendor ticket. Every quirk had to wait for someone else's roadmap. Our team's data lived on someone else's servers. Trckr changes that — same trust, same numbers, fully ours.

🏠

Your data stays with us

Hours, screenshots, activity — all on Armasourcing's own VPS, with daily backups we test weekly. No third-party SaaS holding the keys to your work.

🛠

We can ship fixes today

Annoyed by something? Tell us, we fix it, you auto-update tomorrow. No waiting for someone else's release schedule.

🔒

Privacy-first by design

Event counts only — never keystrokes. No mic, no camera, no clipboard. Your bearer token is encrypted at rest with Windows DPAPI. Updates are cryptographically signed.

🤝

Built for honest VAs

Real-time anti-cheat catches autoclickers + jigglers within seconds. That protects you — your hard work doesn't get lumped in with anyone gaming the system. AI also reads the VA's own baseline before flagging anything, so quiet focused work won't get falsely tagged.

🪡

Stitched into our workflow

Chat sits inside the agent, connected to community.armasourcing.com. Badges celebrate wins in #wins-and-celebrations. Goals appear on /me. One tool, all the things.

💌

Weekly recaps that respect your time

Every Sunday: a personal email with your week's hours, activity, top project, vs-last-week arrow. No micromanaging — just the numbers + a nudge if anything's blocking you.

Get started in 3 steps

It takes about 90 seconds.

1

Download & install

Click the download button above. Windows SmartScreen may show a warning the first time — click More info → Run anyway. The app auto-updates from then on.

2

Sign in with your email

Open the app and enter your Armasourcing email. We'll send you a 6-digit code. Type it in — you're signed in. No password to remember.

3

Pick project, task, click ▶

Choose your project + task, then click ▶. Trckr asks one quick question — "What are you working on right now?" — and starts tracking. That one line keeps your reports clean.

What's inside

Everything a Hubstaff replacement should be — and a lot it isn't.

🎯

40-hour weekly goal, flexible daily

Track when it works for your timezone. We measure the week, not your bathroom breaks.

📷

Screenshots you control

~3 per 10 minutes. Each capture flashes a soft gold edge so you know it just fired. Review them in the app and delete any before upload — no questions asked.

Smart idle handling

Warning at 5 min idle, 30-second countdown overlay at 6:30, auto-stop at 7:00. Click "Keep tracking" if you were just reading.

🍵

30-min break, daily-capped

Full-time? Take a break — pauses tracking + screenshots, never loses your timer, and the cap survives an app restart.

💬

Team chat, built in

The Chat tab connects to your project channel on community.armasourcing.com — quick text replies without app-switching. For GIFs, kudos, and @-mention autocomplete, hop over to the community web (one click from the chat tab).

🔥

Streaks, badges & leaderboard

21 badges across hours / streak / quality / wellness — celebrated in #wins-and-celebrations. Each badge earns XP that feeds the community.armasourcing.com leaderboard, so your tracker grind shows up on the team standings.

🦉

Real-time anti-cheat with AI

Catches autoclickers, mouse jigglers, and macro tools within seconds. Each flag is reviewed by Claude against the VA's own 7-day baseline — so quiet focused work never gets falsely tagged.

💌

Weekly recap + appreciation emails

Personal Sunday recap — hours, activity, top project, vs-last-week. Plus celebratory emails when you hit a streak milestone, beat your weekly goal, or cross 100h / 500h lifetime. No shaming, no spam.

📊

Your numbers, on the web

Visit tracker.armasourcing.com/me for your hours, screenshots, badges, and weekly summary — anywhere with a browser.

⌨️

Power-user shortcuts

Ctrl+Alt+T toggles tracking from anywhere. Ctrl+Shift+P/S/B for pause / stop / break inside the app. No mouse needed.

🔒

Encrypted session, signed updates

Your bearer token is DPAPI-encrypted on disk. Updates are Ed25519-signed. Self-hosted on Armasourcing's VPS, daily-backed up + restore-tested weekly.

📡

Offline-resilient

Lose internet? Trckr keeps tracking, buffers locally, and syncs when you reconnect — every minute uniquely keyed so retries can't double-count.

FAQ

Common questions.

Does it record my keystrokes?

No. The agent counts how often you press a key, not which keys. That's the only signal we use for activity %. We don't see what you typed, ever. Same for mouse — clicks/movement counts only.

What's the "what are you working on?" prompt for?

One quick line before each session — like "Outreach emails for Liz · Wave 3". It saves you and your admin from detective work later when reports get reviewed, and helps you string together a cleaner weekly summary. Takes 5 seconds, saves 20 minutes at month-end.

Why does Trckr detect autoclickers?

Because honest VAs deserve to not be lumped in with cheaters. Trckr watches for patterns only automation tools produce — perfectly uniform click cadence, known macro-tool process names, jiggler-style mouse-only activity. Each flag is then scored by Claude against your own 7-day baseline before any human sees it — quiet focused work that just looks repetitive on paper gets auto-cleared, never flagged. You'll never get falsely flagged for actually working.

What emails will I get from Trckr?

All sent from hello@armasourcing.com — reply to any of them.

  • Sunday weekly recap — your hours, activity %, top project, vs-last-week arrow.
  • Appreciation emails — when you hit a streak (5/10/30 days), beat your weekly goal, or cross a lifetime milestone (100h, 500h). Short and genuine.
  • Quick check-in — only if an admin confirms an unusual pattern. Supportive in tone, not punitive. Just reply with context and we'll figure it out together.
Can I see and delete my own screenshots?

Yes. Open the Screenshots tab in the agent — every shot from the last 24h is there. You can also delete any pending shot before it uploads to the server. No questions asked. Older shots: ask Eli.

How does the team chat work?

Click the Chat tab. It signs you into community.armasourcing.com on the fly and shows your project channel — full WebSocket-powered live chat with GIFs, kudos cards, and @mentions, all without leaving Trckr. Hit ↻ if it ever looks stale.

What happens if I'm offline?

Trckr buffers everything locally and shows a friendly red banner so you know. When you're back online, it syncs automatically. Each minute is uniquely keyed so retries don't double-count.

What if SmartScreen blocks the installer?

That's normal for a smaller publisher's app. Click More info → Run anyway. SmartScreen reputation builds over time as more people install it. Code-signing is on the roadmap.

What if I need to update the app?

You don't — Trckr updates itself within 6 hours of starting up. Updates are cryptographically signed (Ed25519) so a malicious update can't be slipped in. You'll see a small banner in the agent when one's ready, or check Settings → Check for updates to install immediately.

Is there a Mac version?

Not yet — Windows-only for now. Mac support needs Apple Developer notarization. If you're a Mac user and need access urgently, ping Eli.

What about overtime / extra hours?

Track them as normal. The 8-hour mark is a soft floor, not a ceiling — Trckr shows weekly progress against your 40h target. Extra hours are always welcome and counted.

I forgot to track. Can I add time after the fact?

Yes — the "Submit time" tab on tracker.armasourcing.com/me lets you submit a manual entry (start, end, project, what you worked on). Eli or your admin gets a notification and approves/rejects it. Approved time appears in your hours.

What if my agent crashes?

It auto-restarts and uploads the crash report so we can fix it. You don't need to do anything. If it keeps crashing, message Eli with what you were doing.
